Update to Post Office Opening Hours from the Town Hall
The Town Hall has sent a letter of reclamation to the Post Office asking for the time for public attention to remain at one hour, instead of the planned reduction to 30 minutes.
The Town Hall also has a sheet for the collection of signatures asking the Post Office to change this recent policy decision which all Parcent residents are welcome to sign. (25th May 2018)
Change to Post Office Opening Hours
Hopefully most people will have seen the poster in our Parcent Correos, advising that from June 1st they will only open 10.30 - 11:00. Can't imagine any of us that will be affected will be happy about this and neither are the Town Hall. They have offered and are sending a "protest" on behalf of us villagers, who have to go to the Correos and often queue to send or collect. This reduced 30 minutes will put more pressure on an already strained service and the post lady isn't happy either.
PLEASE EXPRESS YOUR DISSATISFACTION BY VISITING THE TOWN HALL AND SIGNING THE FORM ON THE FRONT DESK. WE AIM TO COLLECT AS MANY SIGNATURES AS POSSIBLE AND FORWARD OUR OWN PROTEST. PLEASE MENTION THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS HERE IN THE VILLAGE TOO (24th May 2018)
